Diary of a Melee Adventurer Kaelien and I were bored the other evening and decided we wanted to reroll some alts and re-play the lowbie game* a bit... We were stuck on what professions to roll, though, between those we thought may be unappealing, and those we already have alts for. After a bit of back-and-forth, we had a great idea: we decided to roll opposite Adventurers (Kaelien going Ranged, and me going Melee) and go from there. Kaelien had the good idea of keeping these diaries, so that perhaps our experiences could help up-and-coming low-level Adventurers in seeing a long-time player's take on the early levels. Anyway, on with the show!  -Jayde   -Day 1   -Day 2   -Day 3   -Day 4 *Note: In terms of 'twinkage', I have been avoiding as much as I can to provide a more-or-less 'normal' low-level experience. I did give myself a low-level set of Carbonum armor to start out, and a bit of cash (I have spent about 300k through level 32) but, by and large, I have avoided any major 'twinking' of this character. Aside from my initial set of Carbonum, all the gear has been purchased or found from my new Adventurer, and for those who are new I would note that you will probably do almost as well with any other armor you could find at these low levels.
